Examples of Household Tips to Make Life Easier

May 2nd 2010 14:00
By Ninet Ladov

Many of us are fixed in our ways, in this article we hope to bring you some examples of little tips you can use around the household. There is a lot more such advise in household tips sites on the web, if you find the ones brought here useful you may want to look for more, accumulated these little changes and tid bits really can make your life easier.

To remove tomato based sauce stains from clothing, quickly blot as much of the stain as possible from the garment. Run the stain under running cold water, doing so from the back side. This forces the stain back out through the fabric. Then, rub a little liquid detergent into the stain, Wait a few minutes, run the stain under running cold water again.

Never dry a garment in the dryer until you are sure the stain is fully removed, Or it will set the stain permanently,

Ingredients like cornstarch, salt or talc powder can be poured onto oil spots to start immediately the process of cleaning. This step is particularly important when oil has not dried. These oil stain remover ingredients will lessen the damage and make cleanup easier

Basic dish soap can be used as an oil stain remover. Old or new!

To remove chewing gum that got stuck to the clothes, just put the garment in the freezer for about an hour.

Then carefully remove the gum with the blunt side of knife

Complaints about piles of laundry are common in many households.
There are many household tips that can help do the laundry much more efficiently.

I highly recommend having two laundry basket hampers: one for bright colors and the other for the dark colors. When family members undress, they will throw their clothes into the relevant basket. This way the basket is already sorted for the washing machine. Another laundry basket hamper can be set up for baby clothes. Each house according to the needs

When you do order in the closet or fold a large amount of clothes after a massive laundry, use the ironing board as a folding surface. This way you will not “break” your back

Do not stack in a Laundry basket! Collect them from all the rooms put them straight into the washing machine and off we go.

Use the washing machine as laundry hamper, meaning, do not pile all the Laundry together but put certain items into the washing machine itself; For example colorful clothes. Turn the machine immediately on when it fills up. It’s a great way to save time and piles of dirty laundry

Warning! Treat the various washing materials as if they were regular cleaning substances. Meaning: Store them on a high shelf and keep them away, out of the reach of children!

When you want to clean your bathroom, make sure that you remove all products first. Use a quality cleaning product and use a sponge. Brushes can scratch surfaces! An old toothbrush is perfect to clean around faucets, drains, and in grooves and cracks. For moldy showers, it’s possible to use a mild solution of bleach. Remember! Never mix bleach with any other cleaning product.

Good luck!
