Is Your Home Safe for Your Children?

Our home is our sanctuary after a tiring day at work. It is where we want to have that peaceful moment and quality time with our family. However, are we sure that the home we go home to everyday is safe? Some of the causes of children's diseases can be rooted back from our home. Cleanliness, use of cleansing products, the air we breathe are just some of the factors we have to consider.
Cleanliness is very important at home. Proper and regular waste disposal is necessary in order not to attract flies that are disease carriers. Make sure that spoiled food be thrown away immediately so as not to attract cockroaches and rats into the kitchen. They also carry bacteria that may cause some diseases for our children and the whole family.
Make sure to clean your air conditioner regularly as it may accumulate dust which may affect the air that the whole family breaths. The dirty air may trigger asthma and may carry air pollutants that would affect our respiratory system.
Be careful with the air freshener, insect spray, furniture and glass cleaners that we use as they contain chemicals that may be too strong for your children. If you need to use them, make sure that your children are away from the area. In this case, you can make sure that they don't inhale whatever chemical your cleansing agent contains.
